Top "Don't Forget" Moving Home Food Tips
packers and movers bangalore If you are moving home, you may well have an extensive checklist of things to do both beforehand and on the day itself.
That's great but something that is often overlooked is the impact on your food and drink caused by the busyness and sometimes the stress of home removals. Nobody is pretending that, in the overall scheme of your removals, these are big items but keeping them in mind might just help you feel a little bit better as the day goes forward.
1. Eat a good but disposable breakfast. If you can, it's best to avoid washing up crockery and packing it away on the morning of your removal. That always leads to panic. Instead, have some disposable plates and cutlery available that can go directly into the bin once you're finished. That means all of your 'kitchenalia' can be safely packed away the night before.
packers and movers delhi Have a pre-prepared picnic ready if your packing and removals activities are going to run through lunchtime. The logic is as per the above piece of advice because you just won't want to be thinking about preparing food and washing up after eating. Incidentally, don't bypass lunch in the pressure of packing and loading the van etc. You could find that you suddenly run out of energy mid-afternoon when you still have several hours of work yet to get through.

Keep some bottled soft drinks and treats handy for the kids. Even if you don't normally indulge them like this, it will help as a distraction and avoid them becoming fractious during what could be a traumatic day (the children that is, not your removals experts!).
4. Even if you normally don't indulge in snacking between meals, which none of us arguably should, on your removals day you may find that a mid-afternoon sugar boost is a smart idea. A few biscuits can bring a smile to everybody's face as the day goes on - this time including your moving company personnel!
5. If you are moving into your new property and unloading on the same day, remember to take into account your evening meal. Whatever you may think in advance, many people are simply too exhausted at the end of the day to contemplate starting to cook even if they have managed to successfully unpack everything. Going out for a meal is fine but once again you may find that you are simply too tired. So, whatever your normal views are, consider having some pre-packed meals ready that can be quickly heated in the oven or microwave. An alternative might be some takeaway food but make sure you have checked with your new location well in advance and you know that suitable places will be open when you need them.
